As a value added service we will prepare the Wrap Summary Plan Description and accompanying Plan documents and we will gather the insurance documents, so all you have to do is distribute them to employees and plan participants. This cost is included and covered by our office at no charge to you. We will also handle annual updates to your wrap and plan document.

Who is required to file a 5500? A return/report must be filed annually for every pension benefit plan and welfare benefit plan (including health and medical insurance plans). However, a group health plan with less than 100 participants that is fully insured, self-funded (or a combination of both) is generally not required to file Form 5500.
Are participants and beneficiaries entitled to a copy of the 5500 filing? Yes – once the filing is complete the Plan Administrator must automatically give participants a copy of the 5500 or summary annual report and then retain a copy on file and make a paper copy available, at no charge, at the request of a participant or beneficiary.
This is another valued added service that we are pleased to assist you with and in most cases, will cover your costs and work with our qualified 5500 tax preparer on your behalf.
